Lynn Thompson

Vice President Finance UK

Lynn’s career in the employability sector spans 25 years. She started out as a project co-ordinator for a pilot scheme run by the Department for Work and Pensions, which was a precursor to private organisations running employability schemes. After this, she moved into claims administration.

At an early stage in her career, Lynn was selected to train as an accountant, beginning a seven-year qualification in which time she took on a number of finance roles including Budget and Performance Manager, Corporate Management Accountant and Commercial Sales Accountant before becoming Treasury Accountant and Head of Finance. Lynn has been Fedcap’s Chief Financial Officer since 2019.

Lynn says,
“I am passionate about fostering the right financial culture, helping to implement Fedcap’s vision and drive forward the direction of the business.”

Kirsty Hunn

Commercial Director

Kirsty rejoined Fedcap after previously helping establish and grow the organisation during its early development in the UK. She now leads Fedcap’s commercial strategy, focusing on building partnerships to secure opportunities that expand access to employment and improve economic wellbeing.

With more than 20 years’ experience across employment support, skills, education and justice-related services, Kirsty has worked across both operational leadership and commercial roles throughout her career. This breadth of experience gives her a strong understanding of how public services are designed, commissioned and delivered in practice.

At Fedcap, Kirsty leads complex bid activity and partnership development across the organisation’s practice areas. She has played a central role in developing diverse supply chains, championing the inclusion of SME and third-sector organisations to strengthen delivery and expand local impact.

Kirsty served for five years on the board of the Employment Related Services Association, including three years as Vice Chair, and currently sits as Non-Executive Director of Society Matters, reflecting her continued commitment to sector leadership and strengthening support for people and communities.
