Triage - a three way approach

If you tell us about your disability and how it impacts you then we can make sure we support you properly going forward.

We'll arrange a very informal meeting with you, your key worker and one of our in-house qualified health professionals. This is an opportunity for us to explore, in an informal setting, what your barriers are and discuss how we can support you -  giving you a service that is tailored to your needs and what we are working towards in terms of an end goal.

Gathering information about you at an early stage will help us to develop a health plan that works for you.

One to one health support

You could start benefitting from our one to one health support which will only ever come from a fully qualified health professional so you know you're in good hands.

One to one support includes developing effective coping strategies or help with the practical side of things, such as identifying where you want to be, your job goals that are compatible with your disability, discovering local Disability Confident employers, providing employers with the right information about you and any reasonable adjustments once you are in work.

Group workshops

You'll have the opportunity to attend our group workshops on topics such as:

  • Managing Anxiety

  • Health Eating

  • Managing Interview Nerves

  • Stress Management

  • Depression and lots more

Our workshops are designed to equip you with strategies for better managing your disability to help you prepare for work but only when you're ready. Remember we work at your pace!

IPES is a voluntary programme – it’s your choice whether you join.

We hope you do though as we’d love to support you!
